Thanks for the Charlie Moore posts. Cotton Farmer is the only album of his I lacked in my collection. Moore is one of the greats of bluegrass who (sadly) has been largely overlooked in discussions of important bluegrass artists. From his collaborations with Bill Napier for King on through his last projects with Old Homestead, his work was consistently strong, and his choice of material reflected thoughtfulness. He is much missed by those who appreciated his art.
